Privacy Policy
Lion LLC Tools
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Lion, LLC ("Lion," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with Lion LLC Tools (the "Tools"), private command-line utilities that connect to Google services, including YouTube, through Google's APIs.
1. What the Tools Are
The Tools are internal utilities built and operated by Lion, LLC to manage its own accounts: publishing videos to Lion's own YouTube channels, reading Search Console reports for Lion's own websites, and working with Lion's own email. They are not distributed to the public, have no public sign-up, and are used only by authorized personnel of Lion, LLC on company-controlled devices.
2. YouTube API Services
The Tools use YouTube API Services to upload videos, set thumbnails and captions, manage playlists, and edit video details on YouTube channels owned by Lion, LLC. By using YouTube features of the Tools, users agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
3. Information the Tools Access
With authorization granted through Google's OAuth consent process, the Tools access only accounts and channels owned by Lion, LLC. For YouTube, this is the channel's own videos and their metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, captions, playlists, privacy and scheduling settings). The Tools do not read or store information about viewers, commenters, or other YouTube users.
4. Information We Do Not Collect
The Tools do not collect information from the public. They have no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising services, no cookies, and no tracking technologies.
5. How Information Is Stored and Used
- OAuth refresh tokens are stored locally on company-controlled devices, are never published or shared, and are used only to call Google's APIs on Lion's own accounts.
- The Tools do not keep a copy of data returned by YouTube API Services beyond what is printed to the operator's terminal during a session.
- Video files, thumbnails, and captions uploaded through the Tools are Lion's own content, created and stored on Lion's devices.
6. Sharing
We do not sell or share data. Information is sent only to Google, as necessary to use its APIs, and disclosed only where required by law.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including OAuth-based authorization, locally stored credentials, and access limited to authorized personnel. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Revoking Access
Access granted to the Tools can be revoked at any time from the Google account's security settings at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions, which invalidates the Tools' tokens.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
