The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device using AsyncStorage (a standard on-device storage mechanism). This includes:

• Your grocery list items and their checked/unchecked state
• App preferences (such as whether you have seen the welcome screen)
• A randomly generated device identifier (used solely for anonymous usage analytics)

Your grocery list and app preferences never leave your device and are deleted when you uninstall the App.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, we may automatically collect:

• Device type, operating system, app version
• Usage data (app opens, timestamps)

This data is associated with a randomly generated identifier — not your name, email, or any personal information. It is used solely to operate, maintain, and improve the App.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the App
• Monitor usage patterns to improve user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Information We Do Not Collect

To be clear, we do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers
• Health or wellness data
